^^^^Hahahaha. Thanks. Sooo true. Summer here goes by in the blink of an eye. Skies are finally squeezing out some rain now. Might have some relief for a half hour or so till it starts to steam even more!

Praying for the people of South Texas. Covid 19 has hit them tremendously and now Hanna is ashore.

Ah the blessed south east; we are prepared for hurricane season. Firing up the grill and cooking a bunch of chicken, sausage, steaks, and fish for the week. Just in case the power goes out, we will certainly be eating well. Got the generator running so we can power the fridge and the freezer. I need a new HVAC system this year. The coil is shot, and its ten years old. Might the hurricane take it out so the insurance will replace it :)

It was shaping up to be a decent storm but ended with a whimper. I find the weather here like a lot of foreplay with no happy ending.

^^^^Apt and very funny analogy there Ms bendingbough19. ;-)
Also called to my mind Hexagram 9 of the I Ching. "Dense clouds, no rain (from our Western region)"

Checking in from MN, USA.
Six plus inches of fluffy snow yesterday. Temperatures in the single digits now. Heading below zero F for the weekend, windchills in the minus 20-30 F degrees below zero.
Time to cozy up~

Yesterday woke up to actual temperature of -20 F. Zero now (next day in the afternoon) back to below zero over night, wind picking up, so windchills in the -20 to 30 F. Continued cold week ahead~
When this polar vortex leaves us, 20 F will feel down right balmy~

^^^Eleven days later, we are finally climbing out of the below zero temps. Was zero this morning. A twenty degree or more turn around. 'They say' 40 F by Monday. A sixty degree turn around in a few days. Good times.
Time to call AAA to jump my car battery~

Conferred with Mister Alan Biscuits the Cat and we decided to flip a coin.
