No idea what's for Dinner.
Curious about the IF---intermittent fasting.
Is it an offshoot of the Caveman diet movement that was popular awhile back---feast or famine as a fact of life?
I find I need to have a good breakfast, then graze throughout the first part of the day. If I get too hungry, at some point I eat anything in sight---usually something not all that healthy. Need to keep blood sugar level constant so I don't wig out. And pig out! LOL

I'm wondering if other people' eat the same thing everyday'---or if that might be considered 'weird' ?hahaha
Read somewhere its a sign you may be a borderline Asperger person~
Just seems logical to me, living alone. I change it up a little over the weekend, just for a treat! Woo Hoo

I see nowt wrong with eating the same thing every day.
I'm no one for cooking. But I have lived on beans on toast many times.
If you like something go for it.
Unless it's boiled carrots and sprouts.
Eating them everyday is just wrong.
No good will come of it I tell ye

Thick diagonal sliced carrots, slow cooked or roasted with butter. Get very sweet and carmelized.
Boiled carrots and sprouts? No. Just no.
My Mom worked as a registered nurse when I was growing up, had lots of stories. One was of a woman who totally subsisted on carrots. Raw? Cooked? Not sure. Probably 'mixed it up' for variety. LOL Anyway after years of this diet (months?) her skin turned orange. I was fascinated. Seemed to me at that young age, being a nurse was sometimes like being behind the scenes in a freak show! hahahahah

^^^Put all that between the halves of a crusty bun---Where I live in America, it would be a variation of a 'swiss mushroom burger'~

I sure hope that carrots don't turn me orange. ANYTHING!!!! but orange. (the world already has at least 1 too many orange clowns) I still have faaaaar too many garden carrots left in the freezer, and the last thing I'd wanna be accused of is being a Trumpy wannabe. lol
Time to cut some wood and fire up the grill for supper tonight. Burger is thawed and the snow has melted off of my BBQ

^^^Not a fan of The Orange Man I see~
I suspect if you combine cooked carrots with potatoes and some rutabagas, yes some meat as well--- along with a touch of an arctic blast, you will be the picture of health and wellness!

'albumen'---one of my favorite words~
;-)
My Favorite High school art teacher Robert "Artie" Anderson, gave us a fun fact one stiflingly hot late Spring school day. We were painting with Tempera in the studio, windows open to get some air, no screens up yet. I noticed that flies were buzzing in and landing on my Work of Art. Gross. I was getting a little restive, looking around to see if others had flies landing in their wet paint, too. I guess he noticed because he started telling us about our chosen medium, Tempera paint. How one of the important components of it was 'egg albumen' something flies just love to lap up!
Who knew.
I like to trot out this fun fact fact every now and then. Thanks for the opening Mister S. It had been awhile!
