^^ Sounds good. I find pulses get to my tummy, unfortunately, since tthey are a good source of protein.
Peppermint, that was the only time in my life I ever bought lamb or rack of lamb. I would have cooked it a little longer to be light pink, but my son cooked it as a special treat for me for a Christmas pressie and we were offering a meal of it to my mom also, who likes meat rare, so he was also catering to her.
Needless to say, it was really delicious and a super special treat. I find if I don't have some strong protein pretty regularly, I tend to get ungrounded with just fruit, vegies and carbs. But meat is more rare for me to eat than fish or poultry.
It has to do with hypoglycemia and my needing a high protein, low carb diet to stay energized ever since I was diagnosed in college.
Supper tonight I have no idea yet. Will cross that bridge when we come to it later.

Phoned up Greggs the baker and got two sausage rolls and a steak bake delivered.
Wolfed down with brown sauce and red pepper chutney.
And a can of Stella

Mine was king oyster mushroom "scallops" and garlic rice. I have to say for a change on here that looks quite nice. I like Greggs. The vegetable pasty ...if hot is lovely, it's really a cornish pasty. The Belgium bun with a hot tea is a great comfort in a cruel world.

I subscribed to The Fruit of The Month Club during this Covid winter. Was sent Blood Oranges as well as some apples. Not familiar with them. Squeezed the juice into a Vodka Cocktail. Very sweet, very bright!
Anyone3 else have recipe suggestion for this beautiful fruit?

A bowl of black beans, rice, diced avocado & a few grape tomatoes.
I did have a bowl of cereal with almond milk beforehand though. I do IF (Intermittent Fasting) so I try and get as much in before my fast begins (6pm).
