Probably not...still don't know the words any better. Will you have to work Christmas day?

Not a chance, unless by some real longshot it ends up that I'm expecting company on Christmas day and got a major dump of snow on Christmas eve. Then I s'pose ... Do you partake in the boxing day mayhem?

I love boxing day.... more because it's a lovely calm day to bask and play after the mayhem of christmas day.
I'm sorry they don't celebrate it in this country...but I still do when I have the family here to do it with me.

alternate question for @grey...are you going to be alone christmas day? no family near enough to visit you, or to go and hang out/stay with them?

We don't actually celebrate boxing day here either. (other than perhaps the shopaholics ) I guess what I really meant to ask was do ya like to join the shopping frenzy on that day? And yeah, I'm a ways from most family so it's always up in the air whether I'll see any of them that day. (Usually a few doing their tours over the course of the holidays though)

Oh hell no! I'm not good in crowds so I'll be home relaxing.
Edit: Doh... I forgot to ask a question. What do you think of allergies and other related issues related to wheat?

It seems to be quite the growing thing now a days. I keep threatening my oldest to try going gluten free for a bit but, he freaks out at the very thought of it! He has a major allergy to peanuts and, minor allergies to eggs and, soy. He does display some symptoms of a gluten allergy/sensitivity too.
Have you ever gone completely gluten free for any length of time?

No, but I had a friend and his girlfriend staying at my place when he couldn't resist a quick buck during a housing boom about a decade back. He never had a place to move to though and never considered how tough finding a place might be during a boom like that. I have lots room so they stayed here for a few months until they could find something. She suffered from celiac disease so on a few occasions I went to the trouble of cooking up some vittles with that in mind so we could all sit around and eat together. Pain in the butt it was. Do you know anyone closely that suffers from any serious health disorders?

Yes...my dearest friend who I look after...she had a car accident just over half her life ago when she was 20. She broke her neck and fractured her skull....and sustained spinal cord injury. She is a quadriplegic, though 'incomplete' due to steroids having just been approved by the fda 3 months before her accident, thankfully.
Nevertheless she is paralyzed from her neck down, though has some use of her arms and hands. Her greatest challenge is, unlike most spinal cord injuries, she has full sensation, so is always in a tremendous amount of pain....and her greatest blessing is she does not regret her accident, feeling gratitude for all of her life and the opportunities she has had she would not have had otherwise. She is an inspiration for all who meet her and I am so blessed to have her in my life and be of service to her.
