Its 74 degrees here (Christmas Eve), but will drop 30 degrees tonight.Preparing for a barometer pressure headache tomorrow. Weather whiplash slays the sinuses.

^^^MsP. The indoor air gets very dry here in winter, what with the furnace doing its best to keep us toasty. I have a small humidifier in my bedroom which helps keep the nasal passages moist. A whole world of difference if I forget to flick it on when I go to bed. Wake up in the middle of the night parched (and probably snoring up a storm) LOL
Bird feeders are full, chickadees and their little bird buddies are happy. The neighborhood chicken hawk (aka Cooper's hawk) I noticed earlier in the day up in the tree feasting on something delicious. Which warmed my heart as I've seen her several times dive bomb through the branches and come up empty. Glad she finally got a good meal~
Do you have a fireplace or space heater to get you through the cold spells? Small furnace? Do you worry about your pipes freezing?

We are supposed to have our coldest Christmas in 20 years here tomorrow. It's about the only positive thing I can say about the entire "holiday season".

^^^What's the 'Brrrrr, It's cold' in your neck of the woods Mister Pig? For me, I embrace the 30s and 40s, but the rest of the pansies in this state lose their shit when it drops into the 70s and dress like eskimos.
Christmas day is a high of 56 degrees and a low of 37.

Christmas day is a high of 56 degrees and a low of 37. I remember a girl I worked with (her parents retired to FL) joking how they'd go down there for Xmas and people would be looking at them as if they were nuts for walking around in t-shirt and shorts when its 65 out, and they were all bundled up in sweaters and jackets. I grew up here in CT so it could be freezing and I'm out in a sweatshirt and jeans splitting firewood. The only thing I add is a good hat to keep my bald head and ears warm. Its only when it gets windy that it starts to really cut into you. It's gotta be in the 20s (-5c say) to really start hitting me.

What's shaking in your personal neck of the woods?
If I was at a strip club, I would have an answer for that!
Unfortunately...

Christmas day is a high of 56 degrees and a low of 37. That temperature is just about perfect for Christmas. We're going to be mid 40s for the high and mid 30s for the low with some rain.
Merry Christmas to everybody!

Hanging about 5 degrees below freezing hereabouts, but fairly mild for snow. I'm not complaining for this time of the year around here. (borderline t-shirt weather almost) .....
