Im still giving it my all with weights 4 days a week, but aerobics Im pizz poor.Squats lunges & abs twice a week. I need my classes back as much for my mood as my heart. Yeah. You just need to keep at it for now. It will eventually get back to normal.
I am doing military diet from Tuesday. Had a good week off and eating stuff I want within reason. I had to increase my daily calorie intake over the last 2 or so weeks as I was very low. Still lost a bit of fat. But need that push a bit now as so close.
Were you still walking a lot on low cals?

Were you still walking a lot on low cals? Yes, I was. The results became less and less. But as you get nearer the end you do lose less and body gets used to low calories so holds onto the fat. I've been eating like 2k cals easily a day lately and still walking. Hopefully for next 2 weeks body falls for it and lets me lose a good fair bit on Military diet. I will maintenance again after 2/3 weeks of it and repeat in a few weeks.
It is a kind of Hybrid Military diet. The first 3 days will be exact same as diet guide but the 4 days off I will be eating the recomnded calories but clean and losely following their over the top meals. Clean and simple meals. Chicken, spouts, sweet potato etc.

Well, 10 days and 2 x 3 day military diet stints and lost 6lb @peppermintpetunias so it help to get it shifting again. Last night and yesterday was hard on last day though.
It is something I'd suggest once a month. But, I think if I did it a few months back I wouldn't have felt how I did yesterday. I've been at this since end October os feeling mentally strained and bored of it.
Anyway, Meringue with jam and squirty cream later, crisps, icecream 😋

He speaks truth mostly. Not a fan of omega 6 sunflower oil myself.
I'd take most of his advise on protein powders, maybe try the Orgain vegan pea.

One thing he said was that if you exercise(cardio) on a belly with food in it you will put on and store belly fat
In fact, here it is with him saying it on this call out video lol
Protein powder is good for shakes. I've done it. I still have some there. It might be out of date.

Oh great gravy......this is the first thing Ive watched on him,so thanks. He is def wrong about sunflower oil, and I was surprised. He should be referring to a high protein meal(usually meat) and exercising right after as it does put an extreme acidic condition on the body. But it certainly wont make fat run to your belly.

That guy greg isn't too bad. He is rather annoying.
Protein wise if I was building muscle. I would do 150 calories over my limit and it would be protein based calories. It takes time to build muscle. 500 calories is bulking out and I just think getting fat.

Id def add some protein in food form. I was looking at powders for food shortage possibilities. I do enjoy a good tasting protein bar but its for that sweet taste. Hurt my shoulder doing a lot of shoulder exercises 4 days a week and backing off all arm work for 1 week.I hope that takes care of it.Right shoulder only since Im right handed, so prob not a big issue. I need to work on my legs more anyway.* sighs*

Yeah, Best lay of it a bit plus a week or two off won't do you any harm. You won't loose any gains and it might help with gains.
I thought I tore a muscle the other month back doing abs. It was quite sore under my left ribcage for good few days. But once I rested for a good week to 10 days. I actually found I could do my abs better than ever and core was a lot stronger , so I think you probably overworking it a bit 😎
I still do them 4 times a week atm. But, I'm not going to show them, I think. I'm getting ever so closer to total flat belly. The other 3 days are rest as I walk 10 miles a day still so abs get indirect work there.
No weights in ages for me, though. I'm saving it to do at home in Winter as be less walking due to weather changing. Also by saving it I can use it to get some fast gains if need to use them for extra fat loss as when you first restart on weights as you know, you gain faster being a newbie :)

Well, After 22 days off my Abs due to them 2 teeth out. I got back on it, and was pretty chuffed how I handled it. I owned it! Tomorrow, It will be another session and that's me until Monday, and will be a 4 day week with Wed as a break.
Diet has been all over the place and a bit mixed to be fair. though, I have still lost some fat on the belly. It's a long term thing so not to bothered as long as I don't put pure on. Never stopped the walking and if I did the beer and not so good food would've had its way.
How is your stuff going @peppermintpetunias ?

I was doing great right after the gym stopped having classes, then lost momentum and regained it with the weights until i hurt myself so didnt lift for weeks. I was sooooo miserable mentally not lifting. Im back on a regular work out schedule, but doing it twice a week( arms) and 1 less set ( I was doing 5 sets of each muscle group 4 times a week when I hurt my bursa) Its much better and doesn't hurt to much now. 3 times a week abs. Legs 2 x a week. No tequila for about 8 weeks.I only miss it once in a while. Only one day a week bad food. Good for you keeping up with the walking and ab work.Core is so important to the spine.

I remember your injury, and kind of why I asked. Sometimes, less can be more.
I have walked since March 21st 2219.41 miles
I really have to get back onto doing the squats soon for my legs. However, I do reckon I'm in a really good place for that with what I walk. I'm starting back on the barbell with arms in a light manner, atm. I need to buy some creatine. I haven't in a while, but it works. It causes bloating, though(water retention).
