Warmer temperatures so far as they have come, in my area have just brought out some errant box elder and lady bugs that have been holing up in the cracks of my house and now just announce themselves in the most inopportune spots and gosh I always hate to kill the first surviving ones, after all they and I together we made it through this Winter of Madness and Despair and we both came out on the other end of it and we look at each other like refugees from some alien abduction and I cannot bear to now take away their beingness. So I don't.

Now that winter is well n truly gone here, the tadpoles will be out in the park pond.... time to get some free live food for my beasties.
I'm up at stupid o'clock cos o them making mating noises ffs

Ham....kosher, unkosher...only had one serving of matza all week, being passover and all... I really am not good at observing the jewish kosher dietary laws, but I could keep a kosher home if one asked me to, having grown up in one.... Course I would never get together with someone who would ask me to do such a thing, having rejected so much of the observance...never mind I've rarely been attracted to a jewish person...at least not in this lifetime....  |

In this lifetime I think, I have just decided to stay single. My life is complicated enough at times; without adding another person into the mix.

Yes, I have felt the same, Tizz, for some time...but with me soon to be an empty nester, feeling a new loving friend with a romantic connection (that's not a full-time move-in kind of thing), would be very welcome. Um, not someone like this...  not that I'm unwilling to get someone a beer, but I can see this could be like I'm living with children again.  Actually, gotta stick up for the feline ability and desire to fetch.....my Jasmine is a most excellent fetcher of little wrapped hair scrunchies....she goes crazy with them and loves it if I throw one so she can go chase it, bring it back, and drop at my feet to be thrown again....and again.... Weirdest thing is if anyone's watching her do it, she won't...but as long as I'm not watching her fetch it, she'll do it over and over again....yes, she's a bit odd, but wonderfully entertaining too with this trick she just started to do when she was quite young...now nine, she still likes to play this way. |

Prince wasn't so funny hacking up a hairball today. I would have slept another half hour or, so 'til my alarm went off. At least I finally managed to get in a wee power nap.

sorry, fresh out of ky (actually, never owned or bought it), but got some engine oil around here somewhere....  mmmm.....son told me yesterday his check engine light is on again and his inspection is due the end of this month. |

My dipstick is showing that I am in desperate need of an oil change. I might even syphon out some of my tranny fluid to pour in some Lucas (thicker while its so hot out). My poor beater is needing some TLC.
