Here on the north shore of Long Island its gray, with a touch of yuck, and Im too cold to want to get ready for work. I guess I better get my azz moving if I want a paycheck this week.
At least its not raining yet.

I don't wanna sound too appreciative in case the local weather gods hear me, because after the last Winter, Spring, and Summer we had, I think Mother Nature owes us some good weather. This Fall has been great though and it's gorgeous and sunny out right now. It's supposed to last a while yet too according to the weather gurus on the local news.

^ Well that's good news. Apparently I shouldn't complain either, because its much warmer here than usual for this time of year. All I know is I miss my warm N.C.

It's cool here. The mornings have been foggy and the afternoons cool and clear. Temps are dropping at night to the 40's.

For this time of the year, I've certainly got nothing to complain about in that department as it's been quite a nice Fall actually. Forecast has it nice for at least another week, so maybe the ghosts and goblins will get spoiled this Halloween.

Ugh !!! Everything's white outside, (minor thus far though as it's still > an inch) and we're still getting a light dusting of snow. (they're saying only be a few more hours though, and that it'll remain really light, or maybe even peter out completely ) It's supposed to warm up again after tomorrow though so this should all be gone for the trick-or-treaters.

We have hurricane/storm weather predicted here tonight. The trains have been cancelled and warnings are being given for driving etc. Batten down the hatches and tie down the bins and lock all doors and hope my trees' roots are all feeling strong. Jokes about the 1987 storm have been keeping us all amused all day ... www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/uk-weather-look-back-devastating-1380404

It's wet and chilly here in Nova Scotia today.
Swannie, you stay safe gal. I saw the reports on that storm . Keep warm and away from windows. Let us know how you're doing when you can!

Agreed Swan. Hugs.
Cobs, did you forget I'm just a short distance across the border?
Now Grey, stop with the dirty word.
