^^^Someone sounds depressed. I wonder if it is worth the effort as well, but sometimes just having someone to talk to is enough to lighten the load. Tough time for everyone~ But.. This is no different pre pandemic with this Lady. She is saying how stuff is going great atm. It won't be long before she is moaning again that life sucks.
It's like she is on repeat with a different guy. Twit and Twat going out. Twit and Twat watching the footy lol.. Heard it all when with my mate. I'm lucky I don't look at feed a lot when on there. I just popped on to look at a few groups and message my mate to see how he is getting on with Creatine and his job. I would use my mobile. But it not going off is good.

Not that it has been a big change in my routine, but there was a chance before.
I know what you mean. It's the mental state. Weather is grey here now so gloomy as hell.
@thepigofyourdreams I would ban them thrice.

I've had to unfollow tons of women on Facebook because they posted nothing but the "woe is me" memes day after day. They're the ones who are in anywhere between 4-6 relationships a year, and they all end due to the alleged "narcissist" man.
One of these days, they might actually realize making actual changes will be far more effective than posting silly memes they don't even adhere to.

The "experts" don't seem to think the effects of forced reclusion are even worth addressing.
I'm glad our Governor isn't on board with the hysteria.

I haven't been on Fakebook in over a month, it's usually only 2-3x a year these days, and 90+% of my "friends" are unfollowed because I really don't need to see their dinner plates, their latest drama, their pointless political rants, incessant sharing of pointless virtue signalling, etc. One of these years maybe I'll actually post something again.

I log into see the Local Jobs group and the local buy and sell. I'm only on there atm looking for work. If I wasn't looking for work. I'd log in probably once every 3 or more months. Sods law, I was getting offers but was trying to hold out a bit then decided fook it and its went quiet lol. Serves me right.
I have seen a role where I'd bbe on nights looking after adult with special needs. Not usually my gig that. But might consider the change as it will have it rewards.

It's been over nine months since the Corona lockdowns began. I'm curious to see if there will be a baby boom---the result of virus inspired 'stay at home' lust and sex?/
Would much rather hear about the birth rate than the endless statistics about the positively tested and those infected~

I've been hearing about a rise in divorce rates, rather than romance because of all this. Perhaps the stress of fear of income loss, on top of fear of the virus itself, is tamping down the "fun stuff.

Maybe The Press prefers to cover the negative aspects of the Pandemic, like divorce, etc. , rather than unintended positive consequences. In the beginning they told us how the air was getting cleaner with less cars on the road, and how fish and wildlife were coming back to places like Venice~

i read some positives too, about the environment being cleaner etc. and the curiosity about birth rates rising. I've also experienced in my own circle several whose relationships have been very strained. Very!

^^^For those of us who live alone (Me plus cat), and are retired, not much has *really* changed except for the pervasive sense of dread that hangs like a pall over the populace. And the weird feeling that there is 'nothing to do'---no movies, sports, parties, socializing, etc.
I imagine it is really hard for those families in lock down together, working at home, or not being able to work, home schooling, Lordy~ And really no place to go to be alone with one's own thoughts, no 'door they can close' to get centered again.
On top of that, if loved ones get ill, elders end up in the hospital or nursing home and their people cannot visit, go to funerals, etc, so very difficult all around~

I really can't imagine how people are managing to work at home, home-schooling little ones, and trying to maintain a relationship with their spouses without going mad. Regaring illness and death, I have known so many who have lost one or both parents this past 10 months, and others who lost their own battle with covid. To not be able to gather with friends to mourn those lost has been difficult.
