I have a lovely recipe for "gourmet" cheeseburger macaroni :D
Brown some ground beef; drain. Add in some chopped onions and, garlic... one can of cream of mushroom soup, a little water, the cheese packet from KD, a handful of frozen peas and, the cooked macaroni noodles.

I think I'll utilize an existing thread rather than start a new one!
Hamburger Soup
brown 1-2 lbs lean ground beef in a stock pot dice 2 onions, 3-4 cloves garlic, 2-3 stalks celery and, grate 3-4 carrots add to meat as it is browning. Cook it down for a bit add salt, pepper/pepper flakes and a tablespoon or two of Italian seasoning. Stir it up well and, then add 1-2 large cans diced tomatoes, 1-2 cans mushrooms (or fresh can be added with garlic etc), 1 small can tomato paste, 1 litre beef broth and, enough water to make it soupy enough for you. lol Simmer for about a half hour then add in a few handfuls of sliced/chopped spinach. let it cook a few minutes longer
I have even grated in veggie scraps such as trimmed cabbage cores and, broccoli stems saved from a day or two before. It makes a very yummy/hearty soup.

That seems good enough to eat, young lady. Some pasta also n it would be a stonker of a minestrone. N dinna forget a nice baguette made in to garlic bread.
meanders off to tell Oxford Dictionary "soupy" IS an adjective

well of course soupy is an adjective! no pasta or, bread on the kids diet... beans either for that matter; doesn't a good minestrone have kidney beans? Tonight it was cabbage soup which is very similar but, different!

My Onion Soup Saute about 12 thin sliced small yellow onions in an olive oil butter mix; cook them down for a half hour - 45 minutes. Make a mix of 1/4 flour, 3 large tbsp beef-in-a-mug, garlic powder, and pepper cracked and, hot flakes. Mix flour and, seasonings into the onions, cook on a medium-high while stirring for about 5 minutes. Slowly stir in 4-6 cups boiling water and, 1 carton ~litre stock. Simmer for about 30 minutes. lightly brush crouton rounds with olive oil and season both sides with a little cracked pepper toast in a 425 oven for 10-15 minutes turning them once or twice. thin slice enough cheese(mozza) to top each serving assemble each serving in an oven proof bowl and, place on a cookie sheet in oven set to a high broil until done ~5-7 minutes Makes 6-8 large servings
