On the first day of Veganuary, my TV gave to me, twelve nuns a-bleeding, eleven bats a-feeding, ten ghouls a-shrieking, nine corpses twitching, eight demons drooling, seven wolves a-howling, six crosses burning, five fin-ger-nails...
Four goblets of blood, three dead rats, two stakes through the heart and a vampire baby in a bad mood.
Good luck if you were trying to give up meat for the month.

The last part of Dracula be on tonight.
Last night's one was very well made and a few nice 'oooo that made me jump', moments.
I'll get parked up on the settee and wait for nine bells.

I'll probably re-watch "Interview with the Vampire" soon.
I really don't think the trailer does this Movie justice.

Interview with the Vampire was better than I expected. Enjoy.
I’m rewatching Rogue One. It’s one of the better new Star Wars movies It’s the prequel to A New Hope.

Interview with the vampire was a good film. It opened up new ways to look at vampires.
But the last episode of Dracula last night was excellent as well.
Some nice bits of satire thrown in.
I laughed like a hyena that's heard a really joke when the lawyer demands Dracula's human rights.

Re: Interview with The Vampire. I really enjoyed that whole series of books by Anne Rice<<< made me want *to be* a Vampire (for awhile anyway, eternity is a VERY long time) Never saw the movie adaptation when it came out. Had a hard time visualizing Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in their respective parts. Not at all how I had envisioned it in my head reading it~ But I heard people liked it.
But even more mind boggling to me is Tom Cruise playing the 'Jack Reacher' character, hero of the Lee Child series. Tom is *good*, but is he THAT good!?! hahahaha

I was surprised by Tom in Interview with the Vampire. But when it comes to action movies I just can't bring myself to watch them. Rock, Arnie, Stallone then you look at Tom Cruise. I can't seem to buy into it lol...

Me either! He's pulled off a few things, but I won't see anything just because he's in it. I feel he's rather annoying - and I thought that before Katie Holmes.

Interview with a Vampire was the most boring book I've ever read so I've never bothered to watch the movie. I could have watched it this week since it was on three times. Stupid Canadian cable.

Well, I tried 3 new shows yesterday.
Nancy Drew was not great. I would have quit watching after one episode but my daughters loved it. I used to really enjoy reading the original Nancy Drew book series from the 50s/60s and was hoping for some retention of the original characters/setting but there were way too many changes. The actress who played Nancy was well-cast but the character of Ned Nickerson was horribly rewritten and cast plus the actor has zero chemistry with the actress playing Nancy. 2 out of 5 stars
Soundtrack was decent in spots. While I still am not necessarily hooked, there is an interesting twist in the storyline and the show is good enough for me to keep watching. 3 stars
Party of Five was so good. As a fan of the original series, I was quite apprehensive about this reboot but the pilot episode was incredibly well-done, the characters were well-cast and the writing had me sobbing. This show is one of the best new shows I've watched in a while. 5 out of 5 stars

^ Yeah it was painful from the other side. I’m not a big american football fan, but could see they were not up to scratch. Heard there were too many injuries and rookies and their offense never got it together all season. I only watched the last games of the season the last few years, but I did get spoiled with so many wins living in Patriot country.
So came on to say I have a welcome day off and am half watching for the first time the 2013 armageddon sci fi film ‘Oblivion’ with Tom Cruise ironically. Never really liked him either going back to Rainman since he always plays his egotistical self, no matter the role. What pulls me in are the films he’s in tend to be ones I like.
But he really lost my respect with his extreme involvement in the ‘Church’ of Scientology. They pumped his ego up even bigger than it already was.

I've been watching a bunch of Xena clips today and no idea how my Youtube got infected by it hehe but got re-acquainted with Callisto :) I can't believe Hudson Leick is 50 years old
Damn, what a genetic marvel. I always thought Lucy Lawless (Xena) was hot, but I always liked Callisto more.
