I just watched the first episode of the bbc version of A Christmas Carol.
A good cast.
The set looked good.
But the dialog!!!!!!!!!
The guardian will be creaming its collective jeans.

Watching a four part mini series on netflix called Twice Upon a Time. It’s french, so subtitled. I quite like to watch foreign things as they seem more original and sometimes it’s nice to get away from Hollywood things. This one is ok, but not great. I give it a 2.5 to 3 stars tops. Will see if it has a good ending or not.

Not much of a TV fan... Big Bang, QI, Have I Got News For You and Mock the Week are my schedule, but this evening I took a chance on a blast from my childhood.
In the monochrome days of old, the main kids' prg on a Sunday was Worzel Gummidge n it was crap. Starred Jon Pertwee (a Dr Who) and was as entertaining as an abscess on my arse.
This evening, I watched a new version written by, starring and directed by Mackenzie Crook (you lot over the pond may know him as the wooden eyed skinny guy in the Pirates series of films.
All I can say is I'll have to use the BBC iplayer after work tomorrow to watch the next episode.
It is FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC! Who cares it's a kids show? I loved it!!!!

She looks lovely. 50 is the new 40, or even 30! :)
I watched a few Pitbulls and Parolees this evening. I like that show. So many seasons, guess others like it too. I rate it a 4.5 because it does so much good, touches the heart, and teaches us how to treat dogs and each other better.

As I've been at deaths door with Siberian Death Flu the grim reaper popped in and we watched all six episodes of Irish gangland show Darklands.
It so so ish.
Not a patch on the other Irish gangland tv series Love/Hate.
That is well worth a look.
So I've started watching the Witcher.
Again it is ok ish.
The acting borders on the ham side though.
Dodgy accents 'in' jokes.
On episode 5 now.

Watched the first part of the new interpretation of Dracula last.
Quite witty.
When johnathon harker says to Drac "your a monster"
Drac replies "and your a lawyer. Much the same thing" .
