I sure wish lil boo liked Star Wars, but even her hubbie wont watch em' with me. My brother and some of our home fries will, but its a ten hour drive. Almost worth seeing at the Imax with em', and end what we started. I will have to think some more on that :) Verbs are def in order. Man they wait online with me for hours for a new Marvel flick! We recently had a Marvelthon of all the movies played one behind the other in correct sequence. Took 4 of us a handle of vodka. Yes I fell off the wagon for that event and had two very stiff ones. I love them all, but baby Groot is too cute :) Funny now that I think of it my brother got me into the Marvel comics when we were kids, too. I got him into the X-Men comics and cartoons though. We've watched all the X-Men flicks together at one time or another. Wanna see the new one of them, too. Lil boo doesn't like the X-Men either :( Kids... sometimes...

I wish I was looking forward to Episode 9. It would be sad that they are calling it "the end," but since Lucas actually tried to end it all with Episode 6, it's a bit of a mess now, for me as a one-time fan.
The storytellers seem to have changed their minds as to what its all about so many times now, I wont have high hopes for this. I'll go, of course, because this is THE film series of my generation. I just wont be expecting much.

After TLJ I just don't care anymore. I won't be bothering with Ep9, maybe I'll watch it someday when it's available free, but I'm not giving Disney any money for it.

The Star Wars series definitely has its fan base. Parents buy the merchandise for their children, and themselves. Ending the movie series still leaves a lot of room for creative enterprise, as Disney is well aware of. Kids will still be playing the toys, and watching all the movies again and again. Maybe a cartoon on the Disney channel is in order, being they plan on making many for other popular movies.
