^ So true! I use it only about twice a summer when car's been parked in the sun all day at work and can't breathe when I get in it from the heat, nor touch the steering wheel. At least we don't have those vinyl seats any more like we did when I was a child and you would really burn your legs if wearing shorts.
The washing machine and dryer are being used so can't do my laundry now.

My first world problem-

I get no paid time off, no holidays, no sick leave or health insurance and crap wages... but the work is really important and rewarding, so I can’t complain.

All of the above! Oh, not wife... not since um, 1990, thank goodness. No, my job I've been so fortunate to have for almost 10 years is looking after my very dear beautiful friend who's a quadriplegic with only minimally functioning arms and hands, and from her neck up. She is a true angel and total inspiration for all who meet her and has taught me really not to complain when she doesn't.

Over 50 channels to choose from and can't find anything to watch. Most of what i watch is netfix Actually Netflix is now in some countries other than the 1st world and 2 nd and 3rd world countries actually have lots of tv channels. In Ukraine we had over 100! My 1st world problem being officially retired since 40.

^ cinnamongirl , wow. Hope he didn't have an accident or something. Guess it happens sometimes and maybe see it as a fortunate turn of events he was saving you from spending more time with someone that inconsiderate and not worth it. My first world problem now? I'm comfy in my bed and don't want to get up to walk all the way to the kitchen to put the kettle on. (10 feet down the hall)

@willow
Texted him yesterday to ask what the deal was, he said "I want to build a relationship with you, but I'm not capable of it." We're done. We both collect dragon figures, and I liked him a lot. I had just bought him a watch with a dragon on the face, and had planned to give it to him the night he stood me up. Thank goodness it was cheap!
I'm getting really sick of men and their bizarre behavior.
Sigh...

cinnamongirl , I'm sorry he was another disappointment. I found I kept projecting what I would do, or my women friends would do, onto men hoping they'd be more like us. Finally realized I was setting myself up for disappointment if I kept doing this and treating men with more consideration and understanding than they would ever treat me basically. It was when I stopped feeling I needed anything from men that helped me let go of my wishful thinking and actually allowed me to finally develop my friendships more with women than men.. though men make great friends too, but not so great in the romance department I found. So... guess your having a dragon faced watch now (probably bought prematurely) is your first world problem today. Maybe you can have the strap adjusted and wear it yourself as a good reminder of seeing his retreat as a blessing and great lesson really, even if it stings a little.
