That's a stretch, but with the writing in this season it's probably the writers' logic. Still it was anticlimactic and disappointing.
So let's go on to Dani losing her mind so quickly. I also found that for her to snap so quickly because of Jon becoming distant and Missandei’s death was a stretch. We should have seen her decent take longer. What's your opinion?

So george rr martin spoke of using past history as part of his story.
The ice wall being like hadrians wall .
The red wedding being like the massacre of glencoe (still to this day the expression never trust a campbell is used in Scotland).
But the episode where dani destroyed kingslanding reminded me of the battle of berlin.
The dragon was the equivalent of the stalins organ. The wholesale slaughter of man, woman and child was much like when the soviets landed on berlin.
Jaime and cersei were like adolph and eva.
Very poor last episode though.
Now they will do prequels and sequels and kick the balls right out of it.
But it was boss whilst it was on.

The Lannister army does look like Roman legions a bit.
Yes Dani descent into madness should take longer. Even her father rules for years and was old before becoming the mad king. Mad king also had reasons to be paranoid since he was being undermined and an open rebellion to handle. Dani is like "wow I lost my dragon and best friend , now I will kill everyone."

hibbiejim I agree that the sequels and prequels will be overkill and actually hurt the series. awesomejoe73 I felt that riding like that robbed Dani of who she was and what she was. Had they taken their time and finished GOT properly her story could have been amazing. Everyone's actually would have been better.
