Does anyone watch it? Did they rush the last 2 seasons?
I think they should have done 2 full seasons and one more season for the battle of throne. The whole Battle of Winterfell was rushed. I mean they build up a plot for the whole series and COMPLETE it all in one episode. Also who wrote the Battleplans? No wonder they have been trapped in medieval type stage of history for 8k years.
I mean, Doraki (dorak means idiot in Russian) are light Calvary. What genius sends light Calvary against a superior mass of enemy head on? An enemy without a sense of fear. Historically heavy Calvary can break the line and cause a retreat from fear.
Ok so most of them die in like 5 mins.
Next is the catapults. They stationed them at the front. I guess they didn't study that that stuff goes in the rear.
Oh yeah.. they dig a trench and put it BEHIND their army. I guess they didn't see the fact that hundreds of their own would die caught in the bottleneck trying to get behind it.

To be honest, I kinda gave up on.... was going same way of that tv series Heroes. Was getting a tad ridiculous and not following the books. Ach... I think George Martin had no input at all by the end.... too busy counting the dosh.
Long ago, I got stopped in the street in Belfast n offered work as an extra.... while season 2 was on air. Yeah, that long ago. A couple of reasons shot me down.... my (then 7yo) daughter that I was taking back home to Scotland after visiting my ex, my real life job and I didn't live in Ireland.

Looks like a hoot~
I read the books, don't get HBO or whatever channel it was broadcast on. Watched a little on a Library DVD, so got the gist of what the main characters should 'look like'~
Quite the bloodbath from the first page. No mercy for the reader from Mister Martin!
Still have the image in my head of that young spoiled ruler/brother of whoever having molten gold/silver(?) poured down his throat~
Shudder>>>

In the book they poured it down his throat so it hardened in him from inside out!
I'm beginning to think the books were much more graphically horrific and violent than the TV adaptation, which of course is certainly possible given that Tv has 'Standards',,,hahahah

The books are usually better than the movies or shows based on them. I couldn't bring myself to watch for the first several seasons. Even though they left out things they did a good job - until the last season. I found the ending too tame after the roller coaster the books and show were.

^^^ I find I had to binge watch it a bit. Just watching the first episode wasn't enough for me.

@awesomejoe77 I've found that watching a series from week to week hasn't been satisfying for the past few years. I prefer binging everything. Is it like that for you too?

@bug..yes. Ironic too since part of the success of that specific series was people discussing it and waiting for the next episode. But most shows I wouldn't even get into if I had to wait for following episodes. I am binging "The Last Kingdom " at the moment. Just finished Jessica Jones. Latter I could wait for but the former I probably wouldn't find it interesting if it was weekly.

Weren't you disappointed with Jaime and Cersei's deaths? Talk about a let down?

Yeah right? I think they needed another season. This season should have concentrated on white walkers and next on the throne. They just moved everything too fast that it made less sense. The way walkers easily killed was lame and the way the dragon queen went bat shot in the end just because Jon won't hug her anymore was also moving too fast. Only satisfaction for me was BRONN lol. He got it all in the end.

I can be a sap, I really wanted Jaime to have gone to King's Landing because he finally realized Cersei had to be stopped and wanted him to be the one to kill her. Instead they die in each other's arms as the building falls down around them? I was actually pissed.

Will Cersei phophecy was that she would die(choking) with her brothers hand around her neck. She partly hated Tyrion because of that..she feared him. But basically it can be assumed that she couldn't breath when she was buried in rubble and we did last see jaimes hands around her...phopecy fullfilled?
