Another thread that tickled me was the guy that freaked because he caught his date peeing in the shower. Do you ever pee in the shower. I've read it cures and prevents athletes foot.
PS. I've peed in the shower.

Who doesn't pee in the shower? I pee in the ocean too. I must be one of those people...

It all goes down the drain to the same place right? And you're under running water so it gets washed down fast...
Funny one, one of my last 'generation' of cats I got from a friend who picked him up as a stray (she moved in w/ her BF, now hubby, who had a son who was very allergic so I took him in)... the first year or so I had him, on occasion (not every time) he decided he didn't want to use the litter box (smelled like the other cats?)... so I'd walk into the bathroom and there would be a "load" right at the tub drain, or his other one was the kitchen sink drain (right in the drain)... just turn the hot water on for a minute and it'd wash down, and then for the sink at least (shower I'd use with shampoo anyways) I'd squirt a little detergent in and wash it out... at least preferable to leaving 'accidents' around the house? He was 'neat' about it, never did it anywhere but sink/tub/litter-box. He eventually got used to the other cats and stopped...

With that I'd have used bleach. At least you never stepped in it.

Well, I couldn't get angry with him... at least he was being neat, he wasn't doing it in the hall or something. He was trying to do the right thing...

Yeah, it definitely could have been worse. That a cast you might have been able to potty train.
Back on topic. Years ago I told my brother about the thread and, to my surprise, Mr Natural was grossed out about anyone peeing in the shower. I was really stunned.

Many brands of lotion contain animal urine. In a variety of cultures the first morning urine is used to treat all sorts of skin ailments.

I've read that urine is popular for making skin and skin softer in some cultures.

I think that any woman with children, unless they had a cesarean, has peed in the shower or the bath.

Saw this old thread and had to respond~ I just recently discovered the joy of peeing in the shower. Heard my favorite radio talk show divas discussing it one afternoon. Decided to investigate. Was rather freeing.I suppose kind of like guys must feel when they pee outdoors~ ;-)

I will only pee in the shower if I'm showering alone.

Shower, ocean, woods, and dare I say swimming pools too ... but not in the bath. Best advice I ever got was in ante natal class for first birth... “Keep up your pelvic floor exercises! For life!” I now know why! If you don’t, there is a downside to laughing too much as a woman.
