Hard to say in the midst of recognition, endeavor and relevance how the nut cracks miracle. Eh, umm.. perhaps good nature just needs a little bit of lave. It is agreeable, needless pain is a tough witness.

I'm not sure where you're going with this thread, but this could be an interesting and emotional one.
For the record have close personal experience with family members. Watching the ups, downs these people live in is painful.

It is very difficult to watch others, especially family member suffer through mental anguish of any sort. As far as good nature needing a wash, you are onto something there. So much of what people do is wrought with righteous intentions for others, when indeed the outcome is much more self serving.
The nut cracking miracle is the wonder of the human mind itself. There is but a fine line between genius and insanity.

I believe it is a reference to the fine line between genius and insanity. Please correct me if I am mistaken OP~
Life is but a dichotomy between beginning and ending.

Sanity and insanity is, in general, what is perceived by one's peers. It is an unknown value. Discounting the criminally insane, that is (such as mass murderers and career politicians).
Remember this, anyone willingly wanting to be a politician is unfit for the job.
On another slant, insanity means being mentally unfit. This goes for politicians too. As managers, it means they are not actually competent at DOING the job. That's why managers delegate... and I like to ask them to show me what they want done as I'm just a dumb ass. Remember, you're never ever employed for what you can do, but what they cannot.

That fine line between genius and insanity is interesting. The family member that stresses me the most is brilliant, but does things such as believing they can actually communicate with animals. Dr Doolittle stuff. This person can be so sweet and thoughtful then without warning accuse people of plotting against them.

Can't name the lead singer since the only song of theirs I'm familiar with is Our House. Nice vid though.

It's Declan McManus... better known as Elvis Costello
He's actually appeared on TV in America... most notably as a voice artist on the Simpsons... he was in charge of the instruments in the rock school with the Stones episode
Oh, whichever god you believe in, I AM a geek.....
Here's a wee fact. One of our eccentrics, Spike Milligan, was proud of his certificate that proclaimed he was sane. He received it on discharge from an asylum. That guy fought the system his entire adult life. Travelled with an Irish passport because he was refused a UK one. How dare he be born abroad, refuse to pledge allegiance to the Queen, yet be OK to fight in WWII (he was born in India to a colonial family).
He was a genius, but mad as a hatter.

I had no idea Elvis Costello was part of Madness. You're much more knowledge about music.
Back to the subject, my magical thinking would love to have a miracle cure.

Is it not strange how there's far more psychosis being treated these days? Conspiracy head on... processed foods loaded with additives, refined sugar and trans fats. Amazing the rise in autism too. Just sayin.
An aside... Costello was only guest vocals on that song... his band is The Attractions. He went back to his real name for a while when he was slippin it to Cait O'Riorden... she was the Pogues' bassist.

Yeah, but my family member is a health food fanatic and only grows non GMO fruits and veggies. Maybe it's from when we were younger?
I do remember something about Costello going back to his real name, then being surprised when he was introduced a few years later as Elvis Costello.
And Stu, I like your new pic.

Younger... possibly... when we were not personally liable for our nutritional intake. GM? No such a thing according to some and their views on cannabis. GM has always been around... but in the background. Tongue firmly ensconced in cheek now!
