Robbed this off facebook.... www.sott.net/article/297222-Study-finds-eating-bacon-could-extend-your-lifespanSo, as I NEVER trust these "studies", I did some research. This was after posting that I would bet my entire life savings of £1.27 that there would be involvement in it by bacon producers such as Denmark, who are rather big in bacon production. Guess what? Prof. Dr. Michael Ristow is a Swiss researcher who was funded for that research by www.nordeafonden.dk/englishThe board of that Danish mob consist of 2 shipping magnates, a banker and a politician.... and a token anthropologist. All I can say is hmmmmmm

I doubt that there is much of anything in the news/social media that isn't manipulated somehow by someone somewhere.

It was bacon that did me in when I was vegetarian, (or tried to be), can't stand the stuff now.

The bacon sarnie is the thing that derails most veggies.

I can never get past my craving for steak, so rare it's still got a pulse, can't eat it now does my guts right in. Survived my last pregnancy eating that and drinking milk, (much to the health visitors chagrin) my lad weighed in at 11 pound 8, 3 weeks early, looked like he was trying to tunnel out of me at the end I carried him so low. Wasn't even diabetic then, I just have huge babies xx Bless their big wooly socks x

Best way to serve steak? Chop off the horns, wipe its arse n stick it on the plate.
Anyway, as Tizz said, behind every new stunning "factoid" (to use a Sheldon Cooper-ism) there usually does lie a commercial reason.
