In conversation this came up - I've gotten plenty of puzzled/condescending looks for it over the years, but I've said for decades now,and maintain to this day, that REAL attractiveness/sexiness comes from between the ears far more than from below them. - and it was suggested that it be posted on the board for members to discuss. What sort of things turn your crank?

If a gal is willing to tickle me behind the left knee with a peacock feather, then I'm all hers.
I'm shallow, really, n go for a wicked glint in the eye. The eyes tell a lot.

Looks don't matter, a pov that many people don't agree with me on, including my own partner, however in my opinion beauty is inside, which is why I don't have a 'type'; height, weight, looks, they are only as attractive as the soul who speaks through them.

If I had to come up with a detail that can at least grab my attention in an instant, I'd hafta say that the eyes have it.

A woman who can lay ceramic tile, hang drywall, and strip...paint. And if ya ever happen across any such gifted hunnies, might I ask ya to check if she's got any similarly gifted sisters that're still single? ...

A woman who can lay ceramic tile, hang drywall, and strip...paint. I am wondering what the male equivalent of that is.

Sorry Grey, but I'm well past the diaper stage. Sincerely, I have met some men that are gorgeous to look at, but once you get to know them aren't really worth the knowing. I've met men that others would think should put a bag over their head that became the most precious to me by virtue of who they are inside.

For me now, I think it has more to do with feelings than anything else. It is a turn on to feel like I am loved and, respected in a relationship.

A bloke who does housework? Don't most blokes who live alone do housework? Most of the ones I know are as much an old woman as I am. Personally I'd prefer a bloke who knows a bit of Kinbaku as I don't need anyone doing my housework.
Bug I agree with everything you say. There are lots of things about a person that I find attractive but looks have never been on that list.

I agree with the idea that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... so for me that means it comes from us and what we see or feel in and from the other person... and how we feel in their company.
I'm not sure I could put into words what attracts me... though on a superficial level, I do like beards. :)

I tended to end up with men that would complain about things, but no lift a finger to help. See why I say I'm not relationship material? I have a bad picker.
