... the garlic bread was the store one in a foil bag; it was deliciously over buttered!

sounds good... except for all the salt!! holy crap; parmesan is salty too. Some friends were talking about a link that's going around on FB, they say the cauliflour wraps for the breadless sandwiches are good. I'll post it here next time I see it there.

I created a new recipe today... Chicken taco spaghetti! Made a mexician inspired seasoning rub for chicken; dusted some chicken with it. Seared the seasoned chicken in a little oil and, then removed the partially cooked meat from the pan. Added one large chopped onion, a whole head of garlic chopped and, about 1/3 c butter to my fry pan. Once the onions/garlic had cooked down a bit, I whisked in 1/3 cup flour with about a half packet of taco seasoning mixed into it. After a few minutes of stirring the roux added 2 1/2 cups milk; whisked all the lumps out and added my chicken back. Cooked covered for about 20 minutes; stirring occasionally. Chopped up the chicken breasts; served over spaghetti with just a little grated monterray jack cheese for garnish! 2 out of three thumbs up... one kid likes "regular spaghetti" better

you could see some on my FB Massive pot of Chili about 2 lbs ground beef browned and, drained if needed. Add in 1 whole head of garlic, 2 onions, 2-3 bell peppers all diced/chopped. Once that all cooks for a few stir in about 1 tsp salt/season salt, 1 heaping tbsp black pepper and, 4-6 tbsp chili powder... open 3 large cans diced tomatoes (drain one), 2 large cans red kidney beans drained/rinsed and, one small can tomato paste; throw them all into pot and, stir well. Put in a couple or three shakes of Franks redhot sauce or, other fresh hot peppers/pepper flakes etc can be added with the other veggies/spices. Simmer for at least a half hour stirring occasionally

But that means I have to go on facebook and I'm too lazy. Anyway, your chili looks better than mine.

At the food bank I help out at, no git will take canned chick peas. Funny how many say they like hummus, but can't be arsed making it. I used my best joiny up writing n did a wee leaflet... one ca o peas, one fork, some garlic to taste n seasoning n sesame oil... if ye have it. Fork the lot.
Use as a dip... simples Honestly, I do think at times... they want to learn how to use basics. We give out cooking oil... so flavour some...
It's mostly women (of an older generation) at the bank, so maybe it helps I dole out info to the guys coming in... a long haired lout giving tips seems to go down well n we shifted some cans o chick peas yesterday!
