You're right of course and I probably shoulda said the breeds I mentioned would be my preferred dominant breeds in a mix.
To answer your question I'd still go with mixed but having the two breeds I mentioned earlier as the dominant breeds. The lab would be for their unbridled energy and social traits, and the border collie would be mainly for their smarts. I'd probably toss some rottweiler in there as well for their strength and mental stability.

I always get sidetracked, my life is one big sidetrack! (Lab/collie cross is a fab mix, one of my faves too).

Christmas day...though i actually liked Boxing day best when it was celebrated in england...basking in all the goodies and pressies without the craziness of the day itself.
Loved the question which breed would you be in the four-legged variety...so asking that again.

Actually, kinda along those lines, when I grabbed the fish for my aquaponics setup I wasn't really set up yet and had to scramble to try and make stuff work. It ended up being almost 4 hours before I got home with the survivors. I made the mistake of stopping at a pet store on my way home and mooching a gallon of aquarium water from them with hopes of freshening the water (oxygen had to be getting depleted by then) in the tub they were in. To my disappointment it seemed like the water they gave me musta been infected with some sort of fin rot and I lost 3 before I noticed. I medicated the remaining survivors but only one managed to pull through. The lesson I learned was to make sure one's prepared for more than is expected, (space and water) and to be very careful with their environment. (the fresh water I mooched, thinking it was in the fishies' best interest, wiped them out)
Ever sink the 8-ball offa the break?

laughing....no. hardly managed to sink any ball, actually, in my few times playing. had lots of fun laughing, though, with my terrible attempts. sorry, grey, your efforts to save them might have been their undoing. shame. lesson learned I guess, for all. have you ever found the terminal the airline's website says isn't actually the right terminal after all, and you ended up running around the wrong terminal til you clicked?

ummm... no, I don't know a lot of people that travel by plane. Our airport is no doubt puny by comparison too... there is only one "terminal". Have you done less than one return trip by airplane? That is the extent of my airplane travel

Tip 1 - put in a bag and tie it tight and then TURN THE BAG UPSIDE DOWN so there are no corners the fish can get caught in. Tip 2 - stick the bag in a thermal food bag or a cooler. hopefully the temperature won't get too hot or too cold that way.

I travel lots, and prefer to drive these days. Being in the airport is such a hassle. Flying has become a nightmare with canceled flights, not being able to being our own food/drinks, fees for baggage, and searches. Never mind the rest of the B.S. too numerous to mention.
Flying broom, or flying carpet?

I'll hafta go with the flying carpet, as the sound of a guy climbing onto a broomstick just plain sounds WRONG!!! IMO. SQ

Dizzy spell perhaps, but I suspected that might be the result of pounding tequila shooters like we were. SQ
