I love xmas shopping. I buy myself all sorts of things I realize I wanted for sooo long.
I'm not sure I am done yet.
You?

DONE, and this year I did not splurge on myself since I am working on getting another side of fence soon.
Do you notice what some people may think as odd things about other people?

Ummm, not so much. Have spent too many years with other people in my head, so I try more these days to keep them out, and me out of theirs too.
How is covid affecting your holidays this year?

Usually I see my best friend and her hubby and the kids across the street. It's going to be quiet this Christmas.

Insanely warm here last few days. Like 52-58 degrees F! We’ve only had a few cold days in the mid 30’s so far this year and it’s mid December. Shows how messed up the climate is now. Though just before it turned unseasonably warm again, we did have a day with snow flurries last week, but it didn’t stick.
Re: Xmas covid... my oldest son and lovely wife from here traditionally come over from England to spend Christmas with her family and me. Won’t be happening this year. And next year they most likely will come, but I’ll be in England by then, so don’t know when we’ll be together again for the holidays.
What are you planning for your xmas meal this year?

My son and I will have lamb chops, green bean casserole and a green salad. It will just be the 2 of us.
What are your favorite holiday songs?

I like traditional Christmas carols and sacred music. Choral music this time of year. Not so much modern stuff.
I play piano. This time of year I dig out my stash of Christmas sheet music and regale the neighborhood with My Joy of the Season~
;-)
Favorite Holiday TV episode?
I still laugh at the Festivus episode on Seinfeld. A Classic.

Not technically speaking a TV episode, but this year I'm going to make it a point to catch the movie 'It's A Wonderful Life' on the boob tube. Christmas Eve at 7 on NBC in my area. Soooo good~ Donna Reed and Jimmy Stewart had some awesome scenes together. ;-)
Other Christmas movies out there worth watching again and again?
