Procrastinate NOW. Don't keep putting it off. I was going to procrastinate today, but it's a holiday weekend so I figured I could put it off until tomorrow.

After a week of procrastinating, I finally finished studying condo docs and wrote the detailed letter to the condo Trust and other owners.
Glad that is finally done. Now it's too late and too dark to start vacuuming. Oh well. That can wait another day, or two, or three....

I'm ok with my accountant at the moment although I have to make a small payment on line by the 31st I think. But feel no pressure at the moment to do this ....sometime in March I have to do my company accounts which when finished with a larger payment by april the first allows me to hopefull go back to sleep until next January..I haven't ate yet or gone for a run. And the car needs washing there is some reasonably pressing washing to do but I have decided to procrastinate biggish today.

Taxes filed - no. Housework done - no. What else can I put off today?

I am procrastinating to do right now a few things...
Cleaning out my minivan.
Writing grant applications for funding for my local 4H Club (I'm an assistant 4H leader).
Going through 3 boxes of papers that got packed a few years ago when I split.

Day off and it’s beautiful out. Unseasonably warm. I love being outside, but am oddly reluctant to go out and start cleaning up all the branches that have fallen in the recent storms, as well as do a major collection of broken things that need to go to the dump.
Also need to go get an estimate or two from bodyshops... my ‘new’ car of just 4 months got scraped badly front left corner from a scrape-and-run that mysteriously happened over the weekend by a yellow car. Miew. Annoyed drivers around here are getting worse. This will be a costly repair I must do to keep the car’s value high in case the time comes I sell it to relocate to England again, or even to do a trade-in. Will see after getting repair estimates if it’s worth going through insurance.
But I’m feeling really lazy today.

Going through 3 boxes of papers that got packed a few years ago when I split. Oof. I did that he other year there and I had documents etc from early 2000's and had to shred it all.
Enjoy lol

^^ Only 3 boxes? Lightweight paper hoarders, guys! Update: Felt guilty enough from my previous post, so got outside and cleared the many branches of all sizes dropped in the visible areas. So many trees have fallen this Winter from such high winds, but I obviously can't move those. Tree surgeons should be doing very well with limitless supply of work this year. That's the problem with locust trees and the large pines that grow here.... very shallow roots to grow in the sandy land with little topsoil.

^^ It took a good few days to clear what I had. Now I shred most thing on spot. Depending on importance of course.

^^ I commend you. I've gathered way too much of all sorts of things now that will take months, and at this rate years to clear.
Think I over-compensated from moving countries more than once and shedding everything.

^ I'm in the process of losing all my ash trees (4) to some disease. Two last year were all splotchy yellow on the bark and got no leaves, and lost some branches in storms. One really big (3'dia base, 80-100' tall).
The two others show the same discoloring, waiting to see if they get any leaves this year. Biggest shame is they're some of my best shade trees, especially the one out front that's another 3'base x 100' tall one, it's the only tree in my front yard anymore... Beyond that it'll cost a couple $grand probably to take down it's so huge, it's the only shade I have out front.
On the flip side I'm gonna have firewood for a couple years.

Oh man, I need to do so much in the yard, its just crazy. The car is covered in pollen and the front porch is cluttered w plants that need to go in the ground. Not today, but grateful Winter is kissing my arse bye bye.
