Forums, it's so sad when trees get sick and die, or are blown down still alive.
Peppermint, pollen this time of year? Oh yeah, you're in South Carolina and I imagine it's really Spring there! From February to June was when I lived in North Carolina and it felt like Spring or even Summer that year. Summer for here that is, much cooler than there.
Ended up very lazy rest of the day and feeling sleepy now. Thinking an early night and try and get a good night sleep knowing I'm back to work tomorrow and will be up very late again watching the next States' primary results.
The clocks changing to daylight savings time are starting to affect me. Always takes me two weeks to adjust, no matter which way it changes.

I changed a couple of my clocks last wknd when DST went into affect. Generally I spread it over the week. Still have more than a few still on *old time*.
I enjoy the feeling of *uncertainty* and it gives me an interesting sort of *space* to contemplate the Nature of Time.
I have one of those 'Audubon Bird Clocks' that are supposed to 'crow' a different bird song on the hour. At each seasonal clock reset, I reset the bird clock. It works for maybe a week, then 'Crickets'. hahaha
Anybody else have this issue?

Laughing... Yes! Years ago I had a friend with one and I remember the crickets sound! Not sure it might have been when the batteries were low, which was often.
Procrastination has become an art form for me. Just wish it didn't make me feel guilty. Course that acts as an impetus when it speaks loud enough. :)

I must admit, all this talk about 'cleaning' (for Corona virus) has got me peering into and cleaning out some neglected corners of my house (and my mind. Cue Twilight Zone theme LOL)

For once I didn't procrastinate (I don't with bills) and last week paid a credit card off that still had 9 months of 0% interest left to pay it off, but I was eager.... only to just discover my son is probably out of work now for weeks due to this virus hitting Boston and everything closing. We really could have used what I paid off to help supplement his lack of wages now.
That'll teach me.

Exactly! But the garden’s jungle needs taming too. Did someone mention the beach?

I have to admit that the heat (or really humidity) does sap my motivation...
A couple days ago I was out early splitting wood and it was maybe 58, nice and cool... got a good amount done...
Yesterday it was 70 at 7am and even though it felt cool initially I could feel the humidity, I took a few swings at the wood and was sweating profusely. Gave that up quick.
Cooling down overnight again tonight so maybe I'll get something done outside tomorrow.

Signed up to do an online training today. It’s a four hour training streaming for 38 hours and you can do it in your own time. I had planned to do it all today, being my day off. So did one hour this morning, then took a break they design then, thinking I’d continue the training soon after. In the time since then instead I’ve cleared out part of a closet, moved two hydrangea bushes, cleared part of an outside storage area and watered all the outside plants on the front, especially the newly moved hydrangeas. Thought I was finally ready to return to the training, but felt like something to eat first, then was sleepy so lied down on the couch and just woke up from a nap. Must push myself to carry on with the training now, but think I’ll make a cuppa tea first to help me wake up....
