correction...two feet of snow became four with the wind. omg. so much to try and shovel. my asthma and back are rebelling big time, never mind I feel lousy with the virus legacy my daughter left me. :(
lovely start to the new year.
course it sure is beautiful...all that sparkling whiteness lit with sunshine.

knocking on wood... probably wont help! It has gotten really cold again and, tried to snow last night; still not a lot on the ground though. I think mother nature is procrastinating here. lol Fine by me!! She should keep it up until next year.
I am procrastinating too, I bought the bulb for my headlight on Thursday... I wonder if there is a how too video on youtube?

Good luck, hun. Last time I had to have a headlight changed, I was living near Lancaster, PA for a few months 6 years ago and was moving back to the Cape the next day. I had a newer style Beetle I loved and couldn't figure it out, so brought it into the dealer to do it. Charged me over $150!, but all seemed well. As I'm on the highway driving the 10 hours or so to get home the next day, soon after starting off I realise that same headlight is flying in the breeze above my hood, connected only by the wires!! I obviously pulled over and called the dealer and said in kinder words, wtf??? They made no excuses, but simply told me how to put the headlight back in its socket and turn the clips to keep it in place - the step they'd obviously forgotten. So, although most car manuals these days don't give directions on how to do it (because they want you to use the dealer so they can make oodles of profit), there are clips on the inside when you open the hood that hold the whole thing in....find those and undo, pull the headlight casing out, change the bulb, and put back, being sure to turn the clips again to hold it in place. Good luck!! I hope your car is as easy as it turned out my Beetle was.

They're all so different nowadays that it's tough to guess. Shouldn't be too tough to find relatively straight forward instructions online though.

There are actually some vague instructions in my manual. I just do better with a visual aid. It's not even the whole big headlight; it's just a small little halogen bulb that needs replacing. $10 and, change is all it cost. There are so many warnings about touching it; that it makes me a little nervous...

How'd your bulb replacing go, Tizz? Hope well!
I'm sitting here, headache still strong that woke me up...have had it all week since the reclast infusion Monday. Gotta get ready for work, but feeling quite planted here for a bit longer.
It's grey and wet outside...seems more like dusk than dawn....late for dawn, but looks like dawn light.

that was for fun, of course, but just found this quote on a picture here in the guest room that I love! "There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it." ~Mary Little
