Well I watched Blippi who's damned annoying. Then there was Paw Patrol, Rusty Rivets and PJ Masks. I was on the edge of my seat with those three.

You must have been watching the good ol' CBC Kids morning. I turn it on for my 3-year-old every morning. Did all those show's main characters manage to save the day? The suspense kills me...

Went to see the girl from the north country last weekend and after the tedium that was the lion king the saturday before I'd like to report that this play with the music of Bob Dylan was wonderful. A deeply satisfying emotionally wrought sometimes funny sometimes stunningly sad musical with so many great performances one of them the unhappy mum was amazing . Rolling stone was a musical highlight just before the interval.Even though Hamilton songs ...sorry bob...are many, varied and great . This musical is up there. So good.I hope the performers are as good stateside ...

Watched Jeopardy Greatest Of All Time. I'm rooting for James Holzhauer who set a number of records during his 32 game winning streak.

I watched a couple episodes of Frontier yesterday. I am completely disappointed in this series. Horrible writing and Jason Momoa is miscast. I had been so excited for this series about an exciting part of history but that writing just sucks. 2 stars
Today I discovered the 2018 miniseries Vanity Fair. Absolutely love it and wish there was a second series. 5 stars

Watched the 2016 film "Hidden Figures" the other night. It's set in the 1960's and is based on the true story of three exceptional women who worked at NASA then and it is superb! I give it a 10 out of 5.

Night off, so just watched for the first time the future sci fi war time loop film "Edge of Tomorrow" starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, made in 2014. Love her, but not crazy about him because he always seems to play his egotistical image of himself, no matter the role. Nevertheless I usually like the films he's in and this was no exception. I give it 4 out of 5.

Watching Kingsman: The Secret Service. Never saw it before. It's good. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is on next. Not sure I can watch another so soon as they are quite intense, but will start it anyway. Says it has Colin Firth again, but also Julianne Moore in this one and I love her.

The 62nd Grammy Awards. Nothing real memorable and at 3 hours and 40 minutes long, it was tough to get through.
