This is a Sears Silvertone "amp in the case" Danelectro guitar. Wish I had kept this one,the amp had a great sound.

Ok, this photo is a bit freaky, but these are incredible, cb! I feel like we need a 'wow' option instead of just a 'like' one. Do you still play?

Haha thanks, that photo is when I used to live with my (2nd)wife. She is an artist and used to "collect" alot of weird stuff for projects. I don't play much any more. I don't even have an amp now because I gave the last one I have to my girlfriend.

I won this yellow Les Paul in an auction to benefit the "Can't Stop The Rock Film Festival". At the bottom are photos of J.Mascis of Dinosaur Junior playing this guitar. He was in one of the films featured in the festival (Gas Food Lodging). The director of that film Allison Anders sent me this note when I won the auction "Mitch YOU already know you ROCK -- but now you can rock just a little bit harder! Seriously -- thanks soooo much for this bid!!! I will send this out to you tomorrow. Are you a J Mascis fan? If so I will send along a few little fun things with the guitar"

This is a Dan Armstrong Guitar I used to have. I always thought they were super cool and futuristic because of the clear Lucite body. Keith Richards had one of these. You could easily change the pickups(they just popped in) which was another cool feature of this guitar

This was my Hofner Senator. Jeff Beck famously smashed one of these in the movie Blow-up

This is a cool Fender Bronco. I bought it as new old stock from a defunkt Music store. What was interesting(to me) about this guitar was that Gary Busey had played one in a scene in the movie The Buddy Holley Story. It was kinda funny(to guitar nerds like me) because the scene was supposed to take place in 1953 and this guitar model wasn't even made until 1967(8 years after Buddy Holly's death).

I've always liked Lucite bodies, too. A little over ten years ago, I conducted a test with a Lucite body guitar and several other wood guitars to see if my cork sniffing, wood snob friends could tell me which one was the Lucite bodied guitar. I had a total of five recordings to eliminate the possibility of lucky guesses, and not ONE person guessed correctly with all of them.
