So into getting strong shoulders these days. I have neglected them.

So into getting strong shoulders these days. I have neglected them. Forgot I had a kettle bell. I work the shoulders with over heads, and chest presses. But It is incorporated into 2 different exercises for me and the over heads are usually part of a chain when doing barbel squats. No squats yet for me though. Unless, I start doing them without weights for now.
Well, Back was sore(expected) when I got up so off out for my walk (8 mile and off back out as shopping interrupted it)tensing my abs a lot and they are tender right now haha. A little session later on them with weights. No pain no gain :)
I'll do rest days on Sat/Sun this week. But, First week back on it so not holding myself to anything. Anything for first 2 weeks is a start to be fair.

I wish I could make myself walk in my neighborhood but Im not familiar w where every dog is and cant open carry.Its nice out and I have no excuse not to get to the park tho.I dont know how you walk as much as you do.I couldnt do it as my back would be screaming. I was thinking of throwing in a 10 pound weight in a pillow case and making a kettle bell but am doing so many shoulder moves now. I squat minus weight and swinging weight at times.Lunges really get me sore.Lunge walking, anyway.

I'm just pushing to lose weight is why all of the walking at the moment plus if I want some nice stuff like Chocolate then this is my trade off. Soon enough no chocolate. But, I do have 2 bars of it and 2 wafer biscuits to use. I walk everywhere pretty much. I don't feel it on my feet at all. That does come with time though, and my last job was very active 12 hours on feet so hardened to it.
Partly why I'm not doing the squats is so I don't walk like John Wayne at the moment as I will burn plenty calories with what I'm doing.

My knee has cleared up it seems. Another 15.2 miles walked today. No abs or weights today though as let abs rest today and didn't activate them while walking. Tomorrow I might try a small proper session and dug out my kettle bell for Russian twists

Ah, You might like some of these in this abs workout @peppermintpetunias . I use a few of these.
I did one that was stood up for 10 mins and forgot about this one below and still had a crack. It was quite hard after already doing one so only managed bits and bobs. But, It was extra. I'll work out my routine tomorrow or maybe in a bit for tomorrow tailor made. I will be starting proper Monday at least 3 days a week. If I can do 5 days in a row I will.

3 days on the trot with abs so will see how they feel at weekend after next 2 days doing them for 5 days in a row. Walked 15 miles again.
Did a bit on chest. But, Not a lot as left arm acted up. Oh and 30 barbell squats too. But could feel my leg starting to go into a cramp so enough is enough for today.
21.9 BMI, 16% Fat my scales reckon.

That is 2 x 5 days abs a week down now. Next week I'll add 5 secs to each exercise then do the same the following week. The week after that maybe 5 more. Arms and Chest later on weights then rest for weekend except daily walk

I am doing military diet from Tuesday. Had a good week off and eating stuff I want within reason. I had to increase my daily calorie intake over the last 2 or so weeks as I was very low. Still lost a bit of fat. But need that push a bit now as so close.
