Since my Dad died, I have no interest in all the copies and clones these days.... off to watch Kelly's Heroes yet again and remember the glory days of watching films from the projection room with me Rielly's Hero

^^^Nothing better than watching a movie on the Big Screen, except maybe being in the projection room watching the movie, alas those days are gone.
Movie Buddy DD and I try to go every week. Last one we saw was UNCUT GEMS. Very manic, like being inside this crazy guy's head, worst nightmare. Exhausting. Explosive twist at the end came ALMOST as a RELIEF.

No. Dracula with Bela Lugosi. I saw a lot of old horror and 50's sci-fi when I was a kid

Ah, I see @riseabovethis
I used to watch a lot of b&w horrors as a kid myself. Some of them were likely worse than I remember though hehe :)

Just back from seeing the movie '1917'~ Good movie. Keeps your interest from beginning to end. Not as gory as it might have been. Worth the popcorn, kiddies!

^ Good to know.
Ironically I saw The Birds when I was young and it scared me off scary movies for life.
Watching on Netflix a German six part series “Charite’ at War” that takes place early 1940’s as Hitler was implementing his final solution and other torturous cruelties and how it affected a German hospital’s staff.

Between "The Birds" 1963, "Rosemary's Baby" 1968, "The Exorcist" 1971, "Jaws" 1974, "Carrie" 1976, "The Omen" 1976 "Amityville Horror" 1979, and my older brother tormenting me in my youth over them all, I don't like nor watch horror flicks. I think my brother and his friends caused a lot of us girls in the neighborhood to be afraid of the dark as kids. Boys will be boys...

Ive been watching "Call the Midwife" on Netflix. Very nice wholesome programming without the violence in most shows.
