Back in the early 90s, my mother called me up one night and wanted me to go see a guy named John Berry because she didn't want to go alone, so I did.
I went to the concession stand after the opening act, and suddenly I heard a blood curdling scream. I turned around and a blonde haired girl asked if I was Brady Seals from Little Texas. (seen in the motorcycle scene) My hair was a lot curlier back then and the same length it is today, so I guess I see where she might have made the connection. I should have lied and told her I was him.
But anyway, I think of this band as the country version of Bon Jovi sprinkled with Eagles harmonies.

I have a few women friends who don't like Country music, but they did like this one...... It's another one that the video makes the song......

I don't think they did much I don't love but this ones def all country If the Eagles was a new band today, they would be on Country radio.... Yes, and they would be more true to the genre than a lot of what is passed off as country today. A few years ago, I was in a mall and heard a country song with electronic drums and a line where the singer uttered the words "holla at ya boy, that's how we do."
I'm all for experimentation and progress in any genre, but that doesn't mean the end result will always be something that works, and for me, the aforementioned combination just doesn't mix. It's like topping a bowl of ice cream with slices of horseradish.

This is another band that's comparable to The Eagles with their country meets light rock style. Damn, those vocal harmonies are immaculate.
