Fortunately no. My back hurts when I've overdone it, but it's not chronic. Also my neck got injured years ago, so hurts often and gets stiff, but again not chronic. Same question with slight alteration to match this thread. Have you ever had chronic pain?

I have a chronic pain in the ass named Backwoodsroamer and several pets that ride the short bus. But my feet, wrists and thumbs are a constant reminder that I'm an old gal who lived too much life in her 20's.
Same ?

Got shingles a few years back. That left me with nerve damage. Such fun.
How many scares do you have? If you'd like you can tell us how you got them?

Sweet bug, is there any way to turn your question into a 'have you ever? I guess it could be have you ever been scared? I seem to have become the have you ever police and I apologize right now for my ocd.
Been scared by dogs coming after me 3 times in my life. Been scared by one of my mom's male cats freaking out on me when I was a teenager and had to get him off fast. Been scared again as a teenager by two young crazy drivers that pissed me off because they scared me driving, so they started chasing me in their car.. I had to pull over and get out to show them I was just a girl and was not about to fight them. That was really scary. Got home and was even more scared because my dad was pissed I was out so late and not sympathetic at all to what just happened.
That's enough for now.
Same question adapted slightly.... Have you ever been scared?

When I was little I was chased up a tree by a big black dog. Of course now I look back it wasn't that big but to a little guy it was enormous.
When I was in high school a group of 7 or 8 us were walking downtown and got stopped by the cops. While being searched a cop puts his hand in my pocket and pulled out a pen. At that point another cop sees a quarter under their car. The cop gives my pen back and walks away without searching me anymore so I put my pen back in my pocket with the two joints that were there
While standing on the railroad tracks I came within ten feet of getting hit by a train.

Oh LAWD yes, I've been scared. I'll hit the worst ones. In 2002, I boarded my company's pressurized Navajo to head to Cedar Rapids Iowa to visit Rockwell Collins (an aviation company). The aircraft had just gone through and annual and engine overhaul. Upon takeoff, once we got up to altitude, the right engine quit on us. We had to spend almost an hour yawing and heaving before Meacham airport could manage an emergency landing. Upon landing, the left brake went out. We almost skidded into a leech filled pond at the end of the runway. Thanks goodness for luck, xanax and single malt scotch.
In 1996 my ex and I were in Cancun. We loved snorkelling so we joined a group for a tour of the best snorkel spots. This involved tiny two person boats. We were told that if another little boat hits you from behind, you'll capsize so we took the last boat so no one would run into us. Well, we didn't get out of the stupid bay before our little boat that trailed the others died. The ex tried and tried to start the boat. A major storm was brewing and I was trying to bail the boat out with my beach shoe and then hubby tried to tug us to the "shore" which consisted of a bunch of alligator infested reeds alongside the bay. Finally, the rest of the group noticed we were missing. I blew out my vocal cords screaming at some jet skiers for help to no avail. They forced us to finish the shitty tour in a freaking massive storm and when we got back to the dock and took off our life jackets, I was screaming bloody murder at the folks who hosted the tours without realizing that my bikini strap had broken. I was shaking my angry fist while my right boob jostled about. I did NOT care. We got our money back.
Same question.

Wow you two. Totally scary.
My nightmare night....I'm 18. Decided I wanted for the first time to stay the night with a guy, my boyfriend at the time. I called home to test out my parents' reactions to my proposal I come back in the morning. At that time legal age was 18, not 21. So my father freaked out and because he was demanding I come home, I decided not to and told them. Hung up the phone finally and stayed the night. In the middle of the night, though, I woke up hearing my dad calling my name. Sure enough was horrified to realize he was standing in the apartment at the bottom of the bed. He pulled the sheet off me and my boyfriend and grabbed me and pulled me out of the bed. I was naked so totally embarrassed as well as scared. My boyfriend was trying to hold onto me and call the police with the other hand. Landline phones only in those days. Eventually we got my dad out of there and the police had come by then and confirmed there was nothing they could do since I was 18. The next morning I called home to see how things were and found out it was all my mom and closest family friends could do to convince my dad not to disown me that night... all because he couldn't let me grow up. I have lots of scary stories of my father. But that niight he really terrified me. The most mysterious thing was there was no way he could have known where I was. Oh, just figured it out. He must have had the phone number traced from my calling them. Wow.
Same question.

At least he loved me. If he didn't, he wouldn't have cared. That's how I see it now of course with 43 years more life. And to be honest, he was right about the guy who turned out to be not such a good person, but I had to learn that for myself.
The other thing is I was the only one in my family who stood up to my father. Ironic as I was the youngest and only girl, but something in my character decided very young that if he was going to be so hard on me and my brothers, I was going to be equally hard on him, but that's another story.
Adding one more personal tidbit. My dad was quite tyrannical as a younger man, but the last 25 years of his life when he retired, he changed completely and became an incredibly good, warm and loving person. I think he was trying to make amends and when he passed, my love really overflowed for him and all he taught me, even if his lessons were so very harsh.
Same question .... Have you ever been scared?

Realized pretty recently I suffer from anxiety, though my nerves don't show, so I get that scared feeling quite a bit when out of my comfort zone.
Have you ever lost a receipt you know you had and therefore can't return something?
