Third film in a classic trilogy. A fourth film was made but focused on Charleze Theron instead of the recast title character.

Mad Max beyond Thunderdome? Did you like the last movie?

It was fun but it had nothing to do with Mad Max. They just needed the title. I read they filmed the action sequences first, then wrote a script to connect them. It shows. Most of Max’s dialogue consisted of bugging his eyes out and grunting.

I'm watching it again on Netflix (love this one). It's about a self-centered man that accidentally becomes friends with a misfit boy.

I know the film, but not telling. The adult male star was Hugh Grant doing his normal.... he can only act one way.... public school type arsehole. Watched that film a few times...... but only cos of Toni Collette.... wee crush on her. Also, it has a true "feel good" ending

You should tell so you can post the next movie. I like it a lot.
Collette is good in everything she does. I thought Hoult was good too.

If you mean the lad as being a dummy, he went on to be in one of the first created boy bands followed by a career in London as both a TV and stage producer/director
A wee clue.... was an American band that actually had an English member (not him) and their biggest hit was written by Neil Diamond

So the kid's a future Monkee. Am I correct guessing Mickey Dolenz by the smile?
