Yup. I was in my last year at NYU and a barmaid (so could keep my top on) in a pretty seedy place for about a month, just before I left NY on my journey to move to England.
So, no mailwoman... got both Stu and me on that one, bug. :)
Seminary? Oh gosh..... I'm going to say yes?
I've had more jobs than pets.

Yes, I did. I believe you've had more pets than jobs. You've got a big heart.
I think Simon Pegg is not funny.

More jobs actually... but I have had many beloved pets over the years and they usually live longer.
Guessing you think he is funny if you like British humour.

ah ha ha ha.... a seminary? That HAS to be unreal. The church here is doing so badly, a seminary just a few miles from me has been rotting away for over 30 years now.
@willow, by topless, do you mean it had no roof? I think that's a fib as you have never mentioned being in NYC.
as to metallurgy being a science, the degree is MSc... some o the maths I did would have got me a degree in that with one more year of study. Loads of chemistry n physics too....
at school, I was a member of a few clubs including debating and bridge.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say true.
I took Latin for 3 years in High School.

Guessing true, though didn’t know they still taught latin in high school.
I have a ball this weekend with gowns and monkeysuits.

Yep. I graduated in '89 and my father was an English professor so I didn't have much of a choice but I made good grades the whole time.
I'm gonna guess true on yours. Are you going to a Furries convention? LOL.

Laughing... a ball yes, furries convention no. :) It’s a fundraiser every year my employer, who’s also a dear friend, and I attend. Though it is the hardest work day of the year for me getting my friend ready, and then me, it’s worth it for a good cause and we get to play and dance the night away!
Well done on Latin!
So, what is your next truth or lie question, Midge? I find it confusing too, but enjoy everyone sharing. Thanks for resurrecting this thread.

OOPS! I forgot to do the last bit.
I was born with a vestigial tail.

True? Have no idea what that is. An extra long coccyx?
I want to get married again.

No, it's false. Being new here can kinda suck for this thread b/c I don't yet know anyone except R&L survivors. But I'll guess that you don't want to get married again so-false.

Oops. Sorry to imply you were born with any sort of tail!
Btw the things shared here aren't necessarily known, but you are correct. I don't want to get married again. Been nearly 30 years, but pretty sure now I'd drive anyone crazy, as they would me.
So, midge...another truth or dare? I mean truth or lie? :)

The Supersuckers have a great video of their song "Born with a Tail". Linda Blair from the exorcist is in it at the end with a devil costume on.
And I'm on my second marriage to new user backwoodsroamer and have no plans to get married again either!!
My life is perfect. Truth or lie?

^ Brilliant! Needed a giggle today.
Seeing the expression on your face in your wonderful photo with roameo, I'd say yes. (hope he doesn't mind that nickname, less to type, but won't use again)
I've been on a camel.
