The only films I can remember being really enthused about watching and talking about are Sin City and The Lovely Bones. The latter I couldn’t stop thinking about for months....weird.

"Baby it's you" is one of my all time favorite movies. Still have the VHS copy I bought in 1983.

Went to see the play, Into the Woods at our local theatre yesterday. Had no idea what it was about, except some sort of fairy tale mash up.
Excellent production by our local actors, lots of levels of meaning. Five thumbs up. Catch it if you can somewhere~

Two excellent movies currently playing~
If you've OD-ed on Marvel/DC Super power movies, check out these two<<<
The Peanut Butter Falcon and Last Christmas.
Really good and not at all what you're expecting them to be... Check em out. Support your local theater!

Joker was painfully memorable. Not a superhero movie. More of a falling down movie. And Alien was a masterpiece when people had patience.

The Predator Sequels were pretty good. I like the John Wick movies. Takes a lot of head busting to keep me paying attention. The Equalizer movies were pretty good ;)

I certainly appreciated Alien more as an Adult than a 9 or 10 year old when first seeing it. I loved the sequel as it had all the ingredients too and didn't let down the original in any shape or form.
The scene with John Hurt in the original where he took ill nobody else knew about what was about to happen except him and Ridley Scott so the looks of horror and surprise is first hand like the blood splatter hitting the lass etc

And as for the Rocky movies, I really liked the 6th one, Rocky Balboa, especially the part where he gives his son that speech about life knocking you down.
