Today is 'Admin Day' which consists of emails, accounts, paperwork, client notes, washing bedlinen, sorting clothes, hoovering, bathing the dog again (yes folks it's shake your tail feather time), and the continuation of a client audit ..... which would account for why at 9am I am still in bed with a cup of tea playing around on here.

Walking the dog is apparently similar to an old 80s film..... Funny girl. Love that film!!! It was one of our favourites growing up with my older children. Funny to think of an 80's film as old though! Need to get my coffee going and to work, but got curious as to what 'Walk the Dog' means in the urban dict. instead....Wow! Apparently 'Walk the dog' means this: "Leading someone on in a relationship. Intentionally sending "forward" signals in a relationship when it is known that nothing will come of it."Hmmm....interesting. But 'Walk YOUR dog' means this! "Jack off, show your penis who's daddy, J.I.L.L, beat the meat, burp the worm, choking the chicken, hackin the hog."
Gosh. Don't remember any of that in that film...and those are the sort of things I do remember.
Ahhh... but there's also 'WalkING your dog'.... "Used to convey that you understand what someone's telling you. Can also be used as an acknowledgement." Well, who knew??? I honestly thought walking your dog just meant this.
So, thank you, Tizz and Swan for awakening my curiousity!
And good luck, swannie, with your 'admin' day! And have fun, Manny, with your imagination! Now, I MUST get to work. Would rather stay and play, to be honest...or even (tired from being up so late the last many days watching baseball, but it was worth it!)

Yeah. Looking like a dog's dinner, dead shexy eh! Not! I'm on lunch break now. Having managed to do very little this morning. My day is going well. Willow I love that film too. It's one I can watch over and over and still say awwwwww!

This thread's a bulls-eye for what I just went through. I finally got the jerky into the smoker and going, so there's still plenty of time for it to be done tonight, but so much for having it finished before dark, and in time to snack on during tonight's hockey game. Considering the number of times that I've used that smoker now, one would think I'd allot for time to clean it up prior to starting the vittles by now. If it's been sitting and not being used for a week or so, even less in the late Summer or Fall when the flies are thick, I like to take out all the racks and give them a quick scrub before putting any food on them. Well all the prep action takes the better part of an hour once all is said and done, and then there's the task of spreading the meat (or whatever's being smoked) out onto the racks and seasoning it too before the show gets on the road. ...Next time though, for sure.
